As with all electrical equipment, faults can occur and sometimes at the most inconvenient times. The servicing (preventative maintenance) of an intruder alarm system is recommended to be carried out on an annual basis to comply with insurance requirements. As with most house contents policies any discounts given to the client for having an approved intruder alarm system is given on the understanding that the system is checked each year by an approved company and the relevant service report is left with the client.
J S Security have two types of servicing packages available to our customers.
“A” Domestic, Service only: This service is offered to customers with either a J S Security system or a system installed by another company. During the service the Procedures and tests are carried out using the relevant European Standards applicable at the time. After the service has been carried out the client will be issued with a full service report and any recommendations. “B” Domestic, Full Cover Service: This service is offered to customers with a system less than two years old or following the installation of a new or upgraded J S Security system. The service is carried out in same manner as the “A” Domestic service with the exception that all parts (excluding external warning equipment), labour and call outs are covered during the service period.
We also offer the same type of servicing programmes for commercial and retail premises, prices and terms on application.
