Digital Communicator.
A digital communicator sends a signal to the monitoring station, depending on what activations are set up i.e. Intruder, Personal Attack, Open/Close, Fire or 24 Hr tamper. Upon receipt of the signal the monitoring station operator would contact the keyholders to inform them of the signal received.
Mezzanine Monitoring.
Newly installed J S Security hardwired systems can have the option of the alarm linked to an automated monitoring system (P.O.A.), which on an activation of the alarm would contact up to three keyholders by either Text message, Voice or Email depending on which method has been chosen by the client for each of the individual telephone numbers. The system can send messages for Intruder Alarm & Restore, Personal Attack, Fire (provided 12v smoke detectors are linked into the alarm system), Set & Unset, Tamper Alarm, Confirmed Alarm & Restore, Mains Fail & Restore and Latch Facility.
The Latch facility is used when your children get back home from school before the parents are back from work, this works when the child enters the Latch Code to unset the alarm system, a message is sent to the three telephone numbers, which in turn lets the parents know the children are home safe and sound.
Speech Dialler.
A speech dialler is small unit connected to the alarm system and the telephone line, it has up to four telephone numbers programmed into it.
A short message to say the alarm has been activated and a longer message giving the address of the premises are recorded by the engineer during the installation process. This is a stand alone unit only.
